Description: Maker: This delightful pitcher was produced by the Adriana Studio in Deruta, Italy, home of beautiful ceramics for centuries. Design: The pitcher is beautifully hand painted in a classic Deruta pattern of green and white. Size and weight: It's about 6 1/2 inches tall, 6 3/4 inches wide between the tip of the spout and the far end of the handle, and 3 inches wide at the base. It weighs 1 pound 4 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains or repairs. There is a flaw at the top of the handle that looks like a crack but it is not; it was created in the manufacturing process. It's shown in the photo with the red arrow. The pitcher has several of the pinpoint pricks and inconsistencies in glazing and paint that are typical of handmade Deruta ceramics and add to their charm.
