Description: This pew came out of the Grace Episcopal Church in Plainfield New Jersey. The church was originally built with money from the Johnson and Johnson family that made their fortune selling band aids. No expense was spared when building the church. I have a photo of the beautiful gothic carved stone church in the listing. The pew is in very nice original condition. The dimensions are: Length 72” Height 37” Arm height 24 1/2” Seat height 15 1/4” Seat depth 13” Overall depth 20” The pew is constructed of quartersawn oak. The original dark finish has a great patina to it. There are some blemishes here and there as you would expect from 130+ years of use which just adds to the character and beauty of the pew. The bench is made of poplar like a lot of old pews were made. The pew is very solid and will be a wonderful addition to your home or business. The pew is being sold as pick up but I can work with you on shipping it to your location. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost. Any questions 5137390422. I have many more identical pews that can be made to your specific length if interested. Thanks for looking!
