This will fit lathes like a Laguna Revo 15/24.This Steady Rest is 100% CNC cut for great accuracy.This Steady Rest is "Hinged" so you can mount it on your lathe without removing the tail stock.The material used is multi-ply hardwood plywood. (Birch or Maple etc.) The steady rest is laminated together with multiple layers that is glued and screwed together. The convenient star hand wheels make for easy adjustments or opening the "hinge".This fits lathes that have a 15 inch swings. The steady rest will fit lathes like Delta, Jet, Rikon, Grizzly, General, Robust, Laguna, Nova and Shop Fox. Also makes turning of long hollow forms, vases, goblets, candle sticks a breeze. Eliminate vibration while drilling with the tail stock. Also can be used to eliminate vibration on long spindles down to 1.125 inches. If you need to go to a smaller diameter you flip over 2 of arms to get down to 1/4 or smaller.Please remember to wear proper safety equipment while using this item or any other power tools. Recommended maximum RPM varies depending on the overall diameter of the turning. Please use responsibly. Not recommend to turn over speeds of 800 rpm.The color of the wheel is subject to change. Currently clear gray shown is being used.The bed gap measurements vary depending on make and model. This 15 inch model comes standard with a 2 inch block for the bed gap. This can easily be trimmed to fit your lathe. The bed gap block is screwed on so you can take it off and trim it to your size gap.You can ask for a custom sized piece but you must contact me before the steady rest is shipped out.Please give me as much info on your lathe that you can.
