Description: This Woodburytype portrait of the artist Frederick Leighton and the accompanying biographical notice appeared originally in the volume Men of Mark, second series, 1877, published in London by Sampson, Low, Marston et al. The two pages are stiff with age, but they are otherwise in very good shape. The image of Leighton is in excellent condition. There is some light foxing on the mount that you can see in the images listed. All said and done, it is a beautiful portrait.
