BECAUSE of the distressing and waxing process these are NOT suitable for storing raw foods OR wet products in. Measures just over THREE FEET LONG at 39 1/2" inches. It is 5 5/8" wide and it stands approx. 2 1/8" to 2 1/4" tall (remember.....it's a HAND carved piece). It weighs THREE and a Half Pounds! This piece has been HAND HEWN (carved out of ONE SOLID Piece of wood). You will see carving and rasp marks in the wood as well as slight splits or imperfections (which is why we take individual pictures of each bowl/the one you SEE is the one you will receive).
