Handcrafted valance differ from store bought mass produced valances. Below is a general guideline to help you order handmade valances from my shop: (NOTE: Each valance measures 40-42 inches varies by fabric print - guidelines below are to offer fullness/gathers) For windows up to 28 inches: 1 panel..... for windows up to approx. 56 inches wide: 2 panels.... for windows up to approx. 84 inches: 3 panels... for up to approx. 112 inch width: 4 valance panels This is not a licensed product. It is however, hand-crafted from licensed fabric purchased from retail shops. I am not affiliated with or sponsored by any of the trademark holders. Valance measures approx. 41/42 inches wide by 15 inches long. Valance will be sewn with a one inch top header ruffle plus 1 3/4 inch standard rod pocket UNLESS you need a 3" rod pocket with or without the top header ruffle. You must let me know if you want the wider rod pocket. This is a made to order handcrafted item - It is not pre made - but sewn after purchase. Ready to ship in just a few days. Handcrafted curtains and valances vary in size from store bought, mass produced curtains due to the fabric width for the home/consumer market. Being such, you may need more than one valance per window for gathers/fullness. Curtains should be 1.5 to 2x the width of your window/curtain rod. (see helpful advice guidelines above) Unlined valance is machine washable in cold water / line dry or dry on low, press as needed. Lining is available in both cotton and blackout at additional $10 valance panel. (dry clean is preferred for blackout lined curtains). We also create curtain swags, long panel curtains, throw pillows, pillowcases and pillow shams along with fabric shower curtains and other items. Valance arrives freshly pressed - ready to put on your curtain rod! Slight iron touch up may be required to due to mail handling in transit. All orders sent with tracking.
