Description: A 27 x 44 inch cut of "Roses, Inspired by Charles Rennie MacIntosh, Woodrow Studio, London, England." The design is an overall floral, roses of the "Tudor" or "MacIntosh" variety, typical of the late Art Nouveau movement in textiles, glass, wallpaper. The background is a brownish olive, the roses are dark pink, petalled and centered in white. There are leaves in brownish tan, detailed in white. Very rare fabric "Charles Rennie Mackintosh (7 June 1868 – 10 December 1928) was a Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist. His artistic approach had much in common with European Symbolism. His work, alongside that of his wife Margaret Macdonald, was influential on European design movements such as Art Nouveau and Secessionism." The fabric has been stored in a plastic bin in a smoke-free, animal-free household. I will wrap and mail carefully.
