Description: Here we have a Working Antique RCA Radiola 60 Wooden Cased Vacuum Tube Radio Please read description in full. The radio is working but a couple of things need to be noted. All of the vacuum Tubes have been tested and are either NOS or near NOS in testing. Any Tubes not near NOS or NOS I discard and replace. I have pictured it powered up, You can see the vacuum tubes lit in one picture, and the main power lamp lit in the others. The Antenna wire, one long one short are coiled up inside and would need wiring to an external antenna I tested it using a HiFi speaker.... Though very quiet, I did pick up a signal and was listening to it for over 2 hours with no problems ( other than it being quiet). This was the only radio station I could pick up. With living where I do, we get very little on the AM band anyway. The on off switch, toggles. The Radio stays powered up no matter what direction it is switched in. I would normally replace this, but I do not have any to replace it with that would suit the radio , so I left it as it is. On a cosmetic note, One foot on the back is missing the decorative surround. For other cosmetic condition please see pictures supplied. This thing is heavy. It is listed as Local pickup only ( or I will drive it to you if you live in AZ or Nevada. ) If you decide you want it shipped, the shipping arrangements will need to be organized by the buyer and shipper will need to provide a QR code from the purchaser. The vacuum tubes will be removed and packed On their own so to avoid damage. It will be well padded, but I must warn you, any damage caused in transit will be your own responsibility. It is made of wood and is very old, so no matter how well I pack it, one drop from a Fed ex driver will ruin the cabinet. ( so If you can... pick it up for no charge at all , or pay me for my mileage/gas and I will deliver it in AZ or NV. ) I will Charge 50cents a mile. ( Round Trip ) As You can see it is in nice condition, but please see pictures for cosmetic condition. This is getting on to be a very old lady, and as such it will need servicing etc. Sold AS IS with NO RETURNS. Thank you for looking.
