Shipping: week round trip. If the broken timer is sent same day as the repair is purchased, you can expect it back within a week. Once I receive the item, I fix and ship the next day. The item then takes 2-3 days back. Since this is a repair service, the shipping and handling is marked longer for those who take too much time to send to the timer to me; but the actual round trip time is a week. I would use the less expensive first class mail service as priority mail has not proven to be faster but is definitely more expensive. Usually a small box 4"x4"x4" is sufficient. Also a padded envelope works fine. Just wrap something over the shaft so it doesn't poke through the padding. Common symptom is where the dryer will not heat, advance the timer, or turn on at all. One test you can do but it's not conclusive...If you press the start button while pressing the timer knob from side to side, it should start. This would definitely show the timer is the cause. Or test to make sure there is continuity between pins A and C while on a timed setting. If you do buy elsewhere, I will give you $5 for your broken timer and will pay postage to me...easy money.
