This ammo Box are made in aluminium used for machine gun ( Maschinengewehr ) MG 34/42 to house the ammo steelbelt, after ww2 the Norwegian defens toke over most of what the german left, this boxes was expand on one side for a bigger Caliber and repainted, but still many people use them in there display for german war memorabilia, the waffen amt is partly visible, and the producer stamp is there but cant read it, all hinges, locks and handels still working god, and have their original leather cover, this box includes a post war steel band for caliber 30-06.
