Description: For sale is the pictured US Army WWII era Detached Branch Enlisted Man's garrison cap. These were soldiers who did not fit neatly into a specific military role - everything from general officer's staff to Indian scouts. The cap itself is in overall very nice shape, with some age stains. No rips, holes, or mothing. Appears to be a higher quality make than a number of these. Interior tag has been partially removed, all that remains is "Size 7 1/4." Also stamped on inside C-0648. Green piping is in excellent condition. Interior of hat is also excellent, and does not appear to have been worn much, if at all. Displays very nicely. A somewhat unusual garrison cap to find!
