Description: Jeep in a Box! This is a nice reproduction of an original World War Two photo showing a Jeep which has been partially assembled and boxed for shipment. Not all Jeeps left the factory this way, many were fully assembled, so I guess it depended on the final destination. Perhaps these were slated for shipment as aid to Allied nations through Lend/Lease. In the United States, there were rumors of brand new crated Jeeps being available for purchase at ridiculously low prices for many years after the war.
