Description: This is a very nice First World War French M1915 Adrian Helmet for Combat Engineer’s that is in very good condition. The shell is finished in a light shade of horizon blue paint and exhibits scratches and shallow dents from actual use in the field. The front of the helmet has the original French Combat Engineers badge which features the Republique Francaise ‘RF’ superimposed on a cuirass with a helmet on a pole at the top. The helmet is fitted with a 1st pattern brown leather liner with seven fingers one of which is missing. The leather remains soft and supple and firmly fixed in the shell. It is complete with the corrugated aluminum strips and wire bales at the sides The helmet retains the original unbroken chinstrap and iron slider adjustment buckle which is positioned over the front visor. It remains a fine-looking example in very good field used condition. 9009
