Description: 3rd Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes. The item itself is in good, used condition. I don’t see any manufacturers’ or export markings. The sheath is stiff and shows wear. The elastic strap for the handle is gone and the leather tabs look as though they were sewn into a uniform or other equipment. This is outside of my normal collecting sphere, but I’ll answer questions as I’m able. Neat piece originally issued to OSS/SOE operatives, British Commandoes, US Rangers, the FSSF, and anyone with a need for close, dirty work.
