WWII German BINOCULARS? ELEITZ WETZLAR 7x50 MARSEPT SERL# 489986 WORKS WITH CASE

Description: Please note I am NOT an expert on these binoculars at all, so all this information is just my opinion, you'll have to be the judge of this fantastic collectors item for yourself. These binoculars were found on the east coast of the United states, the Maryland area to be exact. These ARE GERMAN MADE BINOCULARS BY ELEITZ WETZLAR SERIAL #489986 , they are 7x50 MARSEPT . When I look through these german-made binoculars it's extremely clear, and when I focus them, they focus very well and the focus turns nice and easy, which is really nice. . now again I'm not an expert , but it looks like there are no scratches on the lenses, which is fantastic. the middle does havemissing leather. I believe these may be World War II , but that's just a guess , there's no year or date on here , so I don't know the exact year these binoculars were made, but they are extremely well made, and a very very solid and sharp looking binoculars. These binoculars and case are used items, so there are scratches, missing paint, dust, dirt, missing parts, and wear , but that's all to be expected for as old as these item are . the case is missing parts as you can see in the pictures . Please also note I did NOT clean these up at all, I didn't even wipe off the dust, I left them just the way I found them, and they should clean up really really nicely , if that's what you choose to do, or you can leave them alone, and add them to a really cool collection. I believe this is a fantastic find , and I hope it goes to a great collector, who will enjoy these items as I did.
