The vast majority of Germans in World War II were Catholics. Like many funeral services today, a small card (usually baseball card size) were printed with a photo and brief history of the deceased. This custom has existed for several centuries and was very prevalent during the Second World War. This particular card was printed in remembrance of: Rudolf Kopp Rudolf was a Private in a motorized Infantry Regiment and passed from severe wounds in field hospital in southern Tunisia at the age of 23.
