Description: This postcard is one of a group I acquired that were written to friends by WWII servicemen stationed at different bases waiting to ship overseas. Most of the messages are fairly mundane for wartime but censors made sure loose lips would not sink ships. No stamp; instead the servicemen would just write “Free.” Waiting to ship out again. Postmarked Washington DC December 27, 1943 This postcard has typical wear of its vintage years and may have soft corners, creases, scratches or stains. Thanks for checking out this vintage postcard! Please take a look at the other postcards I have available.
