Description: WWII US 30 caliber Snap Caps, 1943 & 1944, 30.06 Fluted Snaps, lot of 25 This is a lot of 25 original 43 and 44 GI snap caps for training. They have the fluted sides to show they are for training. They have corrosion, but they’re in solid shape. The corrosion on them cleans off easily with a wire wheel. I took pictures of some of the more heavily corroded ones before and after putting them to the wheel. The rust-type corrosion may leave pitting behind, but it cleans off. The whitish corrosion typically cleans off smoothly. The cleaned rounds are now in Garand clips and in my collection. You're getting the 25 rounds shown in the first part of the photo album. Some of the cleaned rounds are shown in before/during/after sequences to give you an idea of how they clean up.
