Description: This is a very nice U.S. World War II Bronze Star Medal set that is in excellent condition. The planchet is with an even bronze finish to both the obverse and reverse sides. The star is suspended from its original ribbon, which is with bright, vibrant color. It is mounted on the correct WWII style slot broach that is complete with functional pin and roller lock assemblies. The black leatherette case is titled, “BRONZE STAR MEDAL” in gold leaf on two lines and some light wrinkles to the lower part of the top section. Included in the case is the enameled lapel pin, but the ribbon bar is not present. A fine-looking example in excellent condition. 9053
