Description: This is an original WWII poster put out by the Kroger Grocery & Baking Co. This poster is from the year 1943 and measures roughly 35 x 47 inches. This is an extremely rare poster that was privately printed by Kroger with an intense image of a Japanese soldier behind a woman. I have not been able to find any other record of this poster. In 2020, a different WWII Kroger poster sold at auction for over $22,000. This poster is in very good condition with fantastic color. It does have creasing, border wear, fold line wear, very small tears around the border, multiple pinholes around the corners and border, small marks / discoloration, small area of surface wear / surface paper loss in the white area (visible in photo # 5), and general wear. The back of the poster has pieces of tape in two corners and some writing. Please see all photos for condition as they are part of the description.
