Description: This Japanese helmet cover is a unique piece of militaria that would make a great addition to any collection. With its original design and authenticity, this cover is a must-have for any WW II enthusiast. Made in the United States during WW II (1939-45), this cover is a rare find and a true piece of history. The cover is made for Japanese helmets and features a distinctive design that will make it stand out in any collection. It is perfect for those who appreciate originality and authenticity in their collectibles. This item is a great conversation starter and a valuable addition to any militaria collection. "Rare Find." We have two of these available and they are of similar condition and size. One has Japanese information printed inside but we could not determine size. Hence, here are measurements: These are of a semi-oval shape. It measures 7.5" from the side to the crown on EACH side and 8" from the edge to the crown on the longitudinal ends. However, measuring from the longest side to the other side measures 18" with a tape measure, which is likely a result of two extra inches in crown. I added also information that I wear an XL hat size and they fit so comfortably on my head (without a helmet) but they would fit over a helmet that fits my XL head if it is a Japanese-style helmet.
