Description: For sale is this vintage art journal from 1961. It was published under the direction of G. di San Lazzaro. This book comes from a series of art periodicals called XXe Siecle. The publication was printed in Italy and the text in the articles is in French. This is a soft cover periodical that was printed in an edition of about 3000. The cover is a glossy reproduction of a Marc Chagall original lithograph. The book measures 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide. It is about 140 pages in length including gallery and exhibit advertisements from 1961. All the content is devoted to artists, art, sculpture and photography. Articles include subjects like the works of Kandinsky, Klee, the old masters, Miro, etc. There are wonderful color photos throughout the entire book.
