Product Description A Variable tuning set for original variators and almost all tuning variators fitted to scooters with Minarelli 2-stroke 50cc engines. The Speed-up shims can influence the length of the sleeve: an extension usually improves the acceleration and shortening increases the top speed. Before installation, be sure to measure the length of the original sleeve and then change the size of the speed-up sleeve with the washers accordingly! Kit contains an unrestricted drive boss and 15 spacers, each with 5 discs with 0.1mm, 0.2mm and 0.5mm thicknesses. Drive Boss Dimensions: 13mm x 18mm x 37mm. When using on after-market variators, please measure the outer diameter of the sleeve, which should be 18mm. Attention! On Minarelli engines, the tuning kit can affect the operation of the kick-starter gear. A major shortening must be made up for with shims behind the variator.
