Description: There are some rust and dent repair marks, but the dents have been corrected to the extent that they are not so noticeable. The gold lacquer on the surface has been removed, and although there are some parts where some of the lacquer remains, the condition is close to “no lacquer” condition, in other words, “full of vintage feel” condition. In other words, it has a “vintage look” to it. Despite this appearance, it can be played “briskly,” and I think it will attract attention and be the talk of the town (how light this instrument can be played!). The emblem near the neck joint has been cleaned up using red and clear car touch paint. Also, the emblem on the bell post was polished so that it would stand out (so that it would stand out). The entire piece was disassembled, cleaned, dried, and polished with lacquer polish. There are two screw-fastened body rings (large: U-tube and No.2 pipe, and small: connection part of No.2 and No.3 pipe), both of them were disassembled, cut apart, and re-glued after removing old adhesive materials cleanly, and the body rings were screw-fastened properly. The flatness of the tone holes on the main body was checked, and the flatness of the tampo plate was also checked and corrected using special tools, etc., if necessary. The back side of the tampo (the surface to be glued to the tampo plate) is covered with shellac (tampo glue = softens when heated and hardens when cooled). Fine adjustments are made during the overall balance adjustment. (5) When installing the key, the spring pressure is adjusted and the rattling is removed (check the uprightness of the key post and whether the key tube is rattling due to wear, etc., and correct with special tools, etc., if necessary). However, some keys, such as octave keys, may have some rattling due to their structure. We lubricated the keys with appropriate key oil and replaced most of the corks and felts. The neck is genuine 61, and the joint with the body is in good condition. The case shown in the photos is included, but please consider it as one of the packing materials for this shipment. The case is scratched, scuffed, and the interior is damaged, but I think it can be used continuously if it is for home storage. The key is missing. It looks like the same type of case that used to come with Mark6 alto and tenor saxophones, so I think it is a rare vintage case that is not often found in the market. I have been playing saxophone for about 50 years, and also have about 15 years of experience of full-scale maintenance such as OH (balance adjustment is done after I got the instrument). I think the hit of the flageolet is also good.
