It is also perfect for invisible applique stitching. Since the thread takes on the color of the fabrics, it is unnecessary to change the threads, hence it is invisible. The clear thread is used for LIGHT colored fabrics and the smoke-colored thread is used with DARK colored fabrics. This thread will not melt with the home iron.1500 YARDS for lots and lots of sewing on a small 2" cone.The very FINEST thread .004 mm thin. Zoom in on the picture and you can see how fine the thread is. It is like hair.Trouble free sewing with this thread. Don't mistake this with a polyester invisible thread.
