Description: “You and Me” artist signed Artist Proof abstract drawing sketch Unique Detail. Full Disclosure: this piece was acquired from an auction and all info provided is “our best guess”- we are not artists, nor dealers in art! Very unique abstract drawing sketch of two individuals sitting on a log “melded” into one being at points. It is an original - one of a kind piece- as indicated with A/P (Artist Proof- attempts by artist to get just the right art piece put together.). Much research was done to identify artist by signature with no luck- BUT possibly mis-typing letters when searching. Believe artist to be: Benzilio. With the type of letters used to identify this piece (title and artist), and professional matte and frame chosen to display this piece, we believe this artwork was done in 1970s. The professional frame was put on by a business - noted in photos- but does not appear to be in business any longer. The paper backing was mostly “ripped” from the glued frame and has been completely removed for the sale- now showing cardboard backing securely in place. Many of the metal pins to hold backing are missing from across the top, but does not seem to interfere with the security of the inner artwork. Really neat piece hoping to find its way to a home who will appreciate the artist’s work and meaning as it should be.
