This listing is for a 2 pack of 9200 Series 34' woodside reefers decorated for Clicquot Club. Especially suited for modest Z Scale layouts, these cars are the same size as the small FULL THROTTLE hoppers and appropriate for the Steam to early Diesel era! Great for mixed-consists of the first half of the 20th Century! Each car is equipped with FULL THROTTLE couplers, trucks, metal wheelsets and a heavy weight has been added for flawless tracking. Each set is packed with care into foam cradles, marketed as 2-pks in clear plastic, stackable cases, and complete with colorful cardstock liners including the Railroad Herald and lots of model information! REPORTING NUMBERS: NYDX 15032 and NYDX 15037 HISTORY: The Clicquot Club Company ("Kleek-O Club"), was founded in Mass., ca: 1881 by Henry Millis and was one of the largest national beverage companies. After purchasing the Lacroix Fruit Farms, Henry named his sparkling cider "Clicquot" after a famous French champagne but soon began producing a variety of sodas, including Ginger Ale, Root Beer, Cream Soda, Raspberry and Grape. He imported high-quality exotic ingredients, the cost of which finally forced him to sell out to Kimball and Son in 1901, who expanded the factory, covering 1/3 of a mile long with its own train station! They were the first to put a metal cap on a bottle, sell by quarts, and in 1938, sell sodas in cans. The company had dozens of factories across the USA and distributed internationally.
