Description: ZS & Co Zeh Scherzer Hand Painted Purple Violets & Gold Creamer Circa 1910 Pretty porcelain creamer. Decorated with hand painted purple violets over a blue and yellow background. With gold gilding along the rim and to the handle. Marked Z. S. & Co Bavaria on the reverse in green. This mark was used by Zeh Scherzer & Co between 1880 and 1918. Also signed and dated in gold on the base, but I cannot make out the signature as it has partially worn off. The date however is 1910. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 3 1/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
